Clerical employees in the hospital system are undervalued, to say the least. Everyone knows how valuable a receptionist who can keep track of patients in a busy clinic is. Few people realize how much doctors and nurses rely on having up-to-date patient records. Members of CUPE Local 7800 handle both jobs -- and dozens in between. Our clerical members are one of the backbones of our hospital system.
